Quinn Deveaux sings and plays the guitar and the sound was cut right here on the streets of Oakland and San Francisco. Quinn writes and sings Blue Beat music. His sound is time spanning and generation spanning. Songs with silly sulking meanings and their all wet like a bucket of collard greens. And you just wanna dip your bread inside and chew chew chew. And Dance and dream of your lover whilst they rest in your arms. His debut solo album Lions On Lakes is available at shows and it’s likely to blow your mind. Steven Michael Werning is a singer/songwriter hailing from the small town of Ripon in California’s Central Valley. He gained musical experience playing throughout the Central Valley with the band Fairway, which was nominated two years in a row for a Modesto Area Music Award. Werning now lives in Santa Cruz, where he writes songs by himself with his guitar, banjo and mandolin. Influenced by music that runs the gamut from rock to hip hop to fingerstyle guitar, and trying a little bit to fit some of each into his songs, Steve does his best to make music that feels good to his brains, and hopes sincerely that it feels kind of good to your brains too.

I grew up in England and moved to the Oakland- Berkeley East Bay when i was 12 … Started playing in bands at 15 and am still doing it , performing and recording regularly. My musical tastes vary greatly from 20′s and 30′s early cabaret jazz tunes to power pop-new wave-punk rock to soundtrack moody torch songs to dark chamber pop to girl group kitsch.

The California Honeydrops were formed in November of 2007 playing in the subway stations of Oakland, CA. Playfully crossing genres from roots and blues to R&B and soul, The California Honeydrops’ sound is tied together by their unique instrumentation, soulful vocal harmonies, and a funky, good-times New Orleans style. The Honeydrops’ more unusual instruments include a home-made gutbucket bass, jug, and washboard. Their greasy down-home rhythms are punctuated by joyous blasts of trumpet, rollicking piano riffs, and passionate bluesy vocals. The only band of its kind, The California Honeydrops’ live shows have quickly gained a reputation as the best party in the Bay Area.

The Cons were formed in 2006 by founding members Keith Brasel and Andrew Gomez. Within months they recorded a preliminary 5 song EP for the Contact High Music label and put together a band which has been gigging in San Francisco as well as up and down the West coast for the past year. In 2007, The Cons were a feature artist at the NACA West Convention in Spokane. For 2009, plans include national festivals, a college tour, the release of a new album and accompanying videos, and a European tour.
